Hi, I'm Scarlett, a very busy mum of 6, and owner of The House of Aesthetics.
Founded and led by Scarlett, an experienced aesthetics practitioner, the clinic was built on one simple principle: delivering results that look natural, expertly balanced, and genuinely confidence-boosting.
Scarlett specialises in facial sculpting treatments and is particularly known for her skill in lip augmentation — creating beautifully balanced results that enhance rather than overpower. Alongside this, she offers a wide range of advanced aesthetic and skin treatments, always tailored to the individual.
Scarlett’s journey into aesthetics began at 18, when her first lip augmentation sparked a fascination that would shape her future.
“I said every time, ‘I would LOVE that to be my job’ - but like a lot of people, I was misled into believing you had to be a nurse or doctor.”
“It took one practitioner saying, ‘I’m not a nurse or a doctor - of course you can do it.’ And that was that.”
A Brave Career Shift
After 12 years in accounting, Scarlett walked away from a career she had outgrown, choosing to pursue something she was genuinely fascinated by — aesthetics. It wasn’t a leap taken lightly, but one rooted in purpose and curiosity.
AN EDUCATION TAKEN SERIOUSLY
Scarlett immersed herself in training, completing OFQUAL-regulated qualifications and progressing through the Level 7 pathway. Alongside this, she invested in countless online courses — many of which fell short. That contrast would later become impossible to ignore.
Learning Beyong the Classroom
Scarlett refined her craft by working alongside multiple practitioners, gaining extensive hands-on experience in clinical environments.
This real-world exposure allowed her to perfect technique, prioritise safe practice, and understand what truly delivers results that stand the test of time.

Building a successful clinic was only the beginning
From clinic to Academy
A Natural Progression
The decision to expand beyond the clinic didn’t come from ambition alone - it came from frustration.
Scarlett threw herself into education with excitement - only to be repeatedly disappointed.
“I signed up to a course, so excited… but I left - terrified. I couldn’t believe this was the training thousands were doing, and then injecting people’s faces.”
Hoping it was an exception, she tried again - and again.
Superficial, rushed, inconsistent - these courses weren’t building real skills or confidence.
“The level of training was the same everywhere.”
But the breaking point came during an advanced course
“Twelve women in a room. A day of drawing dots on faces. And they handed us a certificate.”
For Scarlett, this wasn’t just disappointing — it was unacceptable.
“I was angry. I didn’t want to be part of an industry like that- but I loved aesthetics.
I knew this was what I needed to do.”
Choosing to Raise the Bar
Determined to do better, Scarlett combined hands-on experience with multiple practitioners and relentless self-learning.
That frustration became the fuel for The House of Aesthetics Academy.
